Sareh Khajehnouri

Taking inspiration from her homeland, Sareh Khajehnouri specializes in graphic design. Born in Tehran, Iran in 1979 Sareh moved to the United States when she was 9 years old. She calls Virginia home and has a passion for Art. Having obtained her degree in Graphic Design at George Mason University, she considers the great Ostad Abbas Katouzian in Iran her mentor. Her work today showcases her passion for Persian calligraphy and other forms of ancient Persian art forms. Through her art she wants to show the beauty of Iran and what it has to offer.

Sareh�s design with calligraphy can be described as �modern �. She has particular talent for mixing new and old and her art exemplifies the state of modern Iran. Her unique style and design with black and white photography and Persian calligraphy brings out a message for the female generations of Iran. In 2006 Sareh was interviewed by Voice of America about her Graphic Design work that concentrated on Iran.
